FeMS Bootcamp ‘24

FeMS Bootcamp is EFeMS' annual professional development event, designed to fulfill its mission of promoting leadership among African women in STEMM. It is an in-person event crafted to unite and equip African women in STEMM with useful skills and expertise to excel in their careers and in STEMM higher education.

This 3-day program, created by African women for African women, comprises interactive sessions with STEMM leaders, skill-building workshops, innovative STEMM research, and career advancement opportunities.

This year’s bootcamp is slated for November 6 -8, 2025, in Accra, Ghana, and will include sessions on:

  • Personal branding and science communication

  • Career strategy

  • Student research symposium 

  • Career exposition with industry partners

  • Mentorship pairing with female engineers, scientists & tech leaders
