FeMS Bootcamp ‘24

Research Symposium

As part of FeMS Bootcamp, EFeMS wants to display the innovative research that our FeMS are engaged in. This half-day symposium will be part of the FeMS Bootcamp and will be filled with outstanding and innovative research from Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math fields. We aim to engage women all over Africa to participate in research talks, poster presentations, and networking opportunities. The theme of the symposium is STEM for Global Challenges: Solutions for a Sustainable Future and we welcome broad participation from various STEM fields such as:

  • Biological Science

  • Engineering and Technology

  • Environmental and Agricultural Science

  • Mathematics and Statistical Science

  • Physical Sciences

  • Data and Computer Science

Each oral presentation will be 15-min (Q&A included).

Abstract submissions are open May 30 and close June 30.
